**Q: do you mean "open" switch or off and then push, closing the swith, completing the curciut or "on"? I need a momentarty push to on switch.**
A: This us a normally open switch. When you push it in it turns on. When released it turns off.

**Q: Is this single pole or double pole?**
A: The "- SPST" in the product desciption stands for Single Pole Single Throw. It is a Momentary Contact Switch which means it's on on when you hold the button down. This switch turned out to be a piece of junk. Fell apart after only a few cycles.

**Q: do you have a rubber boot for this switch?**
A: No - I do not and it doesn’t come with one.

**Q: Is this a no or a nc switch. Have a vehicle lift i need a switch for.**
A: This is a normally open switch.

I used this as a replacement switch on my boat lift at the marina. I'm not sure if it's meant for outside loads that go for 2-3 minutes at a time because it failed almost exactly 3 years after installation (pushing the button would no longer pass power through) - this would be approximately 50 uses over the three years.For the price, I don't think I mind replacing it every few years - it only takes 5-10 minutes.
