The TMC 2209 drivers are whisper quiet and support UART through the board without needing jumper cables. I have it setup to do sensorless homing as well which is a Great feature. The downside is having to switch from using Arduino IDE to something like atom with a bunch of plugins in order to program the firmware. That's the price of going 32 bit though! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works like a champ *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2019* Running this with TMC2209 stepper drivers in UART mode on my ender 3 - works really well and I no longer get pauses in my prints that I sometimes suffered with 8 bit boards.
