I also bought the older model of this in which you put a blue pack separately in the freezer and then into the brace. Between the two products my son prefers this one as it is hassle-free as all you have to do is chill the "sleeve" and apply it. It moves with you and does not impair movement at all.His only real complaint is that he says it does not stay cold as long as the older model, more like 10 to 15 minutes compared to the half-hour he says he gets with the older model. However, it isn't recommended by his doctor that he chill his arm longer than 20 minutes, so the shorter duration could prevent inadvertent over-chilling.Sizing does matter a lot with this product. I measured his arm and his arm was an inch smaller than the recommended range for this product but as there was not an extra small we decided to get it anyway. At first I thought we'd wasted our money as the sleeve would not stay on. However, he solved this by putting the product on upside down (narrower lower arm section placed above the elbow). He says that it still chills well if he usually keeps his elbow bent when wearing it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Product *by M***D on Reviewed in the United States on October 7, 2019* This product was ok. Not the stand in for my Freeze Sleeve I was hoping for but it also was half the price. Fit was just barely snug and therapeutic cooling lasted for maybe 10 minutes. Cool longer but not that deep cool that reduces inflamation. ### ⭐⭐ Loses cold temp after 10-12 minutes *by O***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2019* Doesn't stay really cold for more than 10-12 minutes. Bought the medium size for issues with my elbow. Fits arm well, effective and cold to start, but loses cold pretty rapidly.
