And his still looks brand new as well! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ You may need to shim this. *by J***. on May 26, 2023* I bought this as a replacement for a plastic nut that I had on a homebuilt guitar I have. It was two things early on. I found out it was a bit wider that the nut I had. So I had a choice to either sand the titanium nut or the guitar's slot. I carefully filed the guitar nut slot wider. Once I got it seated, I noticed that it was too low for the slot. (and no I didn't make the slot deeper). I had to shim it some to get the first position 1st E string not to buzz. I don't plan on changing this out again any time soon. This particular nut is lower on the high string side. I can't say whom this will or will not work for.
