Other reviewers have commented on the finish of these drill bits - specifically rust and my set is the same. Tried cleaning them up without success. Whilst it's essentially a cosmetic issue - it's disappointing to receive a brand new product this way. I've tested the bits out - they seem to do what they're supposed to do, but definitely use a very slow drill speed. The case the bits are delivered in is solid and well worth having. Overall I think these represent decent value for money - especially given the high price of some alternatives. One star off for the less than new finish... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Above average but not fantastic *by M***C on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 25 November 2019* This is my first set of Forstner bits so I can't say I have a lot of experience with them (or any, actually). I use them mainly in a bench press drill an I have to say they don't cut through harder wood as well as I would have hoped. I have to go very slowly putting very little pressure on the handle to get a smooth cut.
