It measures about 24 inches long by 10 or so inches high. It comes with two garbage cans. They are not nearly as tough as they claim to be so unless your 2 yr is very dainty I woul look into getting him something else. **Q: is the truck automated in any way, or is it manual functions?** A: It's all manual, there are no batteries. Which to me, is a good thing. My son (about to turn 5), has had this for a year now. Still looks like new, and nothing has broken, and it gets played with alot. **Q: I have seen pictures of an all orange one - is this one orange cab only?** A: Pretty sure the picture is the exact item you'll get. It's what ours looks like. I've seen all orange ones but they're made by Tonka, I think. Don't think I've seen one made by Bruder that's all orange.
