We kept the small, and shaved his leg so it would fit a bit better. More sizes would be great. The other trouble was that they were out of stock on the Left Rear Leg brace for a long time. Once I got it, it didn't seem like there was anything super one-sided on it, leading me to wonder if I could have used the Right Rear Leg brace in it's absence. I still can't quite tell if you could, but boy- would an either-side brace be great.That said, this brace did seem to help him as he waited with his torn CCL for the resultant TPLO surgery. It seemed to stabilize his knee enough so that he could put a bit of pressure on it, which took a bit of pressure off of his other hind leg, helping it stay healthy.However, it being a bit small for him meant that whenever he sat or squatted, the brace would quickly slide down his leg to his ankle, no matter how tightly it was attached over his back. That wasn't great, but we would readjust as soon as he changed position, or we'd take it off for a while. It also meant that the brace developed a deep wrinkle/crease from him sitting with it around his ankle when we didn't catch it quickly enough, making it even easier for it to slip down the next time. >_
