A durable and well-made timberland hard side three piece luggage have set that is great for long vacations or weekend travels.

Review: Tested, and passed on a recent vacation trip - My honey and I purchased two sets so that can do more traveling. Since they nest together, they don't take up more room than two large suitcases. I recently disposed of some Samsonite luggage that was old, beat up, and very HEAVY when empty. We recently took a trip from the east coast to Las Vegas, and back. We used two large, and one small for carrying on our CPAP machines. Here are my impressions: The luggage is extremely lightweight! This means you can pack more clothes and personal items to meet the "under 50 lb" requirement. My honey's suitcase weighed in at 49 lbs, and mine at 39 lbs. (we purchased a digital luggage scale to ensure that we would not go over the limit). The case material seems adequately stiff, with only a slight give. The lining material seems to be nylon, with the usual zip flap compartment, cross-straps, and internal pouches. There are no latches, levers, or snaps, which means that the entire contents are held together by a lone zipper. We immediately recognized this as the "weak link" when they arrived. So, we ordered BlueCosto® (Orange) TSA Approved Lock Cross Luggage Straps Suitcase Travel Bag Belt 600003-ORG . We really didn't care much about the lock, so much as eliminating the heavy stress on the zippers, and to keep everything from spilling out if it failed. The belts worked beautifully, and after the trip to Vegas and back, could see the amount of abuse our luggage endured. The bright orange belt (which further flags our luggage at the baggage claim, and matches the orange zippers on the olive & ginger luggage) sustained heavy black marks, and a bit of fraying around the edges. The outside skin of the Timberland luggage was totally undamaged, not even a scratch. Dirt did not even mark it, but we saw the way they were thrown around on conveyor belts. Importantly, they look "mountain rugged", yet stylish. We had several compliments from other passengers, commenting on the style and color. Most passengers had the standard black nylon soft-luggage, which necessitated them marking them with various strings, colors, kush balls, etc. We are hopeful that with the addition of luggage straps, we can expect many years of service. Only time will tell if the handles and wheels will continue to hold up to the abuse. As stated by others,the wheels are very smooth, easy, and versatile. The extended handle seemed solid enough, At no time did I feel that they were lose or cheap. I added extra abuse to the static carry handles by utilizing a small luggage handle strap (luggage stacker), which connects the small luggage handle to the large luggage handle by way of quick release buckles. .In this way, when you tip the large bag over for rolling on 2 wheels, the small luggage lifts off the floor and hangs off the front, so you can roll both luggage with one hand. This is far more stress than simply carrying or rolling the luggage. I pushed/pulled this luggage several miles through airports, up/down escalators, over curbs - pavement/concrete, and shoved into cabs and rental cars without a hitch. I can honestly say that this luggage held up very well on it's first trip out.

Especially handy in the carry on when you have to pull out your liquids/electronics in security. Makes it easy to open/close quickly without any sort of mess. Already thinking of buying more as gifts for the family!

A: Yes it does.  It is from the manufacturer, Randa Luggage.  Not through Timberland.

A: It is exactly as in the picture, Navy blue almost fading to black.

**Q: is it possible to stack them up one inside another**
A: This does arrive nested inside each other.

2nd set we've purchased. Luggage has able to handle whatever we've thrown at it. Several trips south (Mexico, Caribbean) for the larger pieces, no issues. The carry on sized ones have done a lot of trips within North America. Love them because they even fit in the overhead compartments of the smaller planes (CRJ900). Very well built. Nice suitcases for the price however, the largest suitcase is too big for the airport because they measure the case including the wheels. The wheels put the measurement over the limit just on the biggest case. The other smaller sizes are great.
