Most OEM manufacturers when designing the sub frame will allow the holes for the bolts to be larger than the actual bolt in order for easy installation on the assembly line. However, this causes slight play with the sub frame and through regular driving, the sub frame can be mis-aligned. This ultimately would affect the way how the handle and causing the car perform as optimal as it should. The issue occurs with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X and hence we have developed these kits in order to fix such issues. Utilizing our partner's experience with T6 7075 aluminum and per Mil Spec US AF grade chemical electrochemical plating, these kits are built for extreme strength and durability. These metal sleeve kits are inserted on the top and bottom of the sub frame in order to prevent the sub frame and the corresponding bolt from moving around. This results in perfect alignment of the sub frame. With this kit installed, you will experience the car being able to handle road imperfections very well and also significantly reduced vibration of steering wheel when driving. Also steering response and feel will be improved under both normal and performance driving. With the sub frame aligned, the suspension will be fully utilized and suspension feel will be enhanced.
