But if your base isn't blonde but a brunette with blonde highlights your stylist would have to make that judgment. If you are blonde with blonde highlights then the blonde formula is a must. The reason why they created that formula is because from the past blondes found that the keratin treatment didn't last as long as someone who had darker hair. Blonder hair is naturally more porous so it was not holding onto the keratin. It was pretty easy to put on too. So why the one star? After 2 shampoos i noticed an odd smell and I wasn't sure where it was coming from.
