A decent book to prepare for the Private Pilot written exam. Scored 90%. All topics and subject areas are laid out and structured very well. Easy to read, easy to comprehend. On the other hand, get the 2016 edition. The 2016 cuts out questions that have been removed by the FAA on the actual exam yet the questions still remains in the 2015 edition. Overall, a great tool for the price and time!

Very helpful in going over the basic information needed to know. There are a few parts that unless you are already somewhat familiar with certain charts or tables it may be a little hard to get at first but nothing you couldn't find online. Great study guide. I would recommend this to someone who may not want to go through a formal ground school.
