Decided to pick it up again as a desk toy. No contests for this guy.I like the way it feels. Easy to move, and doesn't catch like the original cubes do. Looks like it may be lubricated with a silicone or lithium grease. It has enough tension that I almost can't spin with a single finger without upsetting the perpendicular blocks.The tiles are a nice difference. No sticky or moving colors to worry about. Other than the GAN logo on the middle white tile, there are no manufacturer markings. I am happy about this, as too much advertising = no buy from me.Mine came with a 3-way plastic adjustment tool, but no instructions how to use. I'll have to do some research.I received 2 solve instruction booklets, both in Chinese/Asian, which contain a bunch of pictures, but no real explanation. I'm guessing they're expecting more experienced players to buy it. I will have to use the original instructions that come from Rubik's. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A "Rubiks" cube that can actually keep up with me. *by M***N on August 2, 2019* I was very impressed with this cube, it is much smother turning than my Duncan speed cube I've been using. And I like that all the pieces are anchored so no falling apart on me.It has also helped increase my speed slightly. Even though I am no way near being competitive, I still like being able to beat the speeds I performed back in the 80s. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smooth, fast spin. It doesn't have stickers so peeling at the corners is of no concern. Most importantly, it has held up to my 2 year old playing with it occasionally.
