When I first received this lens cover, I was disappointed to find that it was just a thin aluminum piece of metal with cutouts. There is no actual protection from dust getting directly onto the lens and potentially scratching or damaging it. Sure there may be a little impact resistance, but that's assuming you can even get the cover plate to stay on the phone in the first place. When I decided to give it a try, I pulled the tab to remove the plastic covering the adhesive and the adhesive pulled off with the plastic covering completely ruining the entire purpose of this item. As you can see in my picture, the adhesive is gone and there are only cutouts, no actual protection of the lens over the camera sensors. Buyer beware, this is overpriced and cheap quality. I put it on then my phone case all was well, removed sticker and placed it on. Was good for 2 days now idk where it is lol. Definitely durable but your pics may suffer if the camera holes are not wiped out every so often.
