However my truck is 14 years old so it does appear noticeably less faded than the original part. For the price I paid I’ve been very happy with the fit and function of the part. **Q: Can this be painted?** A: It's plastic, it can be painted but why? **Q: What Screw Size is used for mounting the new handle? One of our old ones sheared off during removal.** A: The proper size screws come with the replacement handle **Q: Does the lock come as part of the handle or is it a separate part?** A: It is a separate part (you can reuse the factory lock, it slips right into place). Please note that this handle is NOT oem quality - the plastic for the actual handle is not very strong compared to the factory handle.
