I really liked the Halos and wanted to buy 2 more, but I was a bit surprised to see that the Halos sold for $35 each. I saw the Stiga Flows in a sporting goods store and they looked identical to Kettler Halos, but for almost 1/2 the price. So I logged into Amazon and bought 2 Stiga Flows.I received them yesterday, and they are noticeably heavier than the Kettler Halos. So if you're a table tennis expert, you might find this a bit annoying. (I am not an expert.) However, most disappointing was the actual craftsmanship of the Stiga Flows. On closer inspection after taking them out of the shrink wrap, almost all the surfaces of the paddles (3 surfaces out of 4) have a network of ridges underneath them. Look at the veins on the back of your hand. Basically, the Stiga Flows look exactly like that. I'm assuming these ridges are from a really shoddy glue job. In addition, it looks like the rims of the paddles are slightly higher than the rest of the paddle, which will make for some interesting shots.I've tried to put the paddles under a pile of books to see if the veins/ridges/raised rims go away with some compression. Doesn't look like it. So I will probably use these until they start falling apart and then buy Halos.If you are deciding between the Kettler Halos and the Stiga Flows, get the Kettler Halos. Definitely worth the extra money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for constant hard use. *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2018* I work at a treatment center and the residents play a lot of table tennis - they are hard on equipment. The wooden paddles always get torn up in a relatively short period of time. This type lasts at least 10x longer than a wooden paddle. They are pretty bomb proof. They have lasted well over a year so far. They are institution tested and approved! More expensive than wooden paddles but you will save a lot of money by not having to constantly purchase the cheaper ones. They have very grippy rubber surface which can put a wicked spin on the ball. Great paddle all around. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stiga Flow is a horse for outside play *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2017* I bought four rackets for outdoor use about 1 and 1/2 years ago. We leave them outside on the table and play frequently. The three wood handle rackets are all falling apart (handles cracked in half, rubber falling off the racket head, etc.). Our Stiga flow racket has held up well. I am buying another one. My boys (ages 13 and 11) both prefer the Stiga flow over the lighter wood handle rackets. The Stiga is heavier but my boys say it has more power and they always fight for right to use it. I prefer the lighter wood rackets for personal use but the Stiga is very solid for outside use and hence I would strongly recommend it to anyone who is keeping their gear outside.
