It carried well on my back, didn't even need to use the extra strap across the front. It is very sturdy and kept its form unlike 'duffle bag' type carriers I've traveled with previously. I liked that I could cover the plastic window on the back to give my shy kitty more privacy and to help her feel more in control of observing her surroundings on her own terms. The pockets were very useful for her papers, boarding passes, baggage claim tickets, and my wallet. I didn't need to bring anything else with me on the plane. This carrier helped make for a more stress-free trip!One thing I would add to it would be a softer mat for the bottom and for using when the pack is laying on it's back under the airline chairs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy well built *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 17, 2019* This is a very sturdy well built carrier...it will be perfect for taking my snake on outings and my pet rats. It has nice features like the wide front window, privacy flap and side entry door.Unfortunately, I returned it because it doesn't have a chest strap to take the weight off my shoulders.The Petsfit Expandable Backpack ended up being a more comfortable fit for me and my 11-12 lb cat despite its expensive price tag.
