Wiring harness and unit fits but no sound out of any speakers. Looks like the harness doesn’t activate the Audi TT mk2 amplifier ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Is good gfor the money but has flaws. *by M***Z on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 August 2020* For the money I'd say this is pretty good, however this isn't without it's flaws.The specs are fine and it runs smootly enough, at the end of the day I was replacing a 13 year old RNS-E unit, tech has improved a lot since then so I wasn't too worried about performance.The screen is far better than the OEM unit even if it is only 600p, the buttons all work as expected, I bought a carlinkit adaptor for android auto and that works pretty well but there is a little bit of odd behaviour (will go into that in a bit).The interface is very average looking, I downloaded car launcher fromt he play store but the audio player widgets do seem to work well with the various players built into the unit, so I reverted back to the default launcher.Radio App:1. The default settings for the radio app don't show the radios station names, you need to make sure to press the RDS button to show the station names.2. For the antenna to work I needed to connect the blue antenna cable from the antenna to the ANT-CONT wire on the main ISO connector. I think this provides power to the antenna amplifier.3. Pressing the reset button clears the saved channels in the radio app, I found this out because I was trying to simulate a restart, I suspect this radio station presets are being stored in RAM on the radio MCU.Android auto:There are a couple quirks.1.make sure all your music apps on your phone are closed before connecting, otherwise weared things will happen with the playback on the unit.2. For the phone audio to go through the car speakers you need to be connected to bluetooth...(i'm not sure if this is normal) the problem with this is you get an overlay of the default phone app as well as the android auto phone interface.
