## Questions & Answers

**Q: does it matter if the end cap has a crack just on the part that overhangs?**
A: No it doesn't.  It's just aesthetics if it cracked there.  If the cap comes off completely from the carbon filter and you see the silicone glue then that's different and it should be re-glued but otherwise there's nothing wrong with it.

**Q: Where does this filter made in ?**
A: sorry i don`t know its been a long time since i used these kind of filters.

**Q: How often should this filter be replaced?**
A: It depends on your water supply.  For mine, which goes through a water softener first (I'm on a private well with very hard water), I replace my RO filters once a year.
