I can't tell whether it made a difference, because when I added it on, I did it at the same time as installing a Magnaflow muffler, a 360's throttle body, and an aftermarket air intake... So, I noticed an overall boost in speed, but I can't specifically attribute any gains towards the spacer. I chose this spacer because it was thin, wouldn't cause any space issues with my air intake (boosting the height), but also because it had the tooth design that spun the air... The research I had done said that the throttle body spacer concept only works if it can actually make the air move more quickly, thus the tooth design on this spacer. So I went with it... After 3 years it's still in there today and you can hear this pretty cool wind stream noise in the higher end because of it. Claims of improving fuel efficiency, power and throttle response are completely unfounded even from the manufacturer (AIRAID). Installation on a Magnum 5.9L engine provided no improvements in power or throttle response. The only way this could fool you into thinking it would improve your performance is because you have to unbolt the throttle body and hopefully you clean it of any carbon buildup while you're at it which might give a little better throttle response.
