My first vinyl project turned out flawless (maybe because I read/re-read the instructions multiple times and watched other videos). I'm really excited to come up with new vinyl projects. Although it is just a piece of molded plastic, I get much better results with it than an old credit card - it is more sturdy and fits in your hand better. I did have everything that I would need in the kit to make my 1st vinyl project. But I just expected more guidance or better step by step instructions for a beginner who has never used the Silhouette sytem.
