They're also fun to give as gifts.The power of the suction depends entirely on how lively your 9 V batter is. As the battery runs down, so does the suction power, but it still works great for bees, flies, wasps and spiders. The only drawback is vacuuming up really small insects, for they tend to get sucked into the "motor" through the small holes at the bottom of the tube. Still and all, I do recommend this insect vacuum ... it's humane, not offensively noisy, has a comfy grip, an easily changed battery and, despite what the negative reviews say, it works. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars This is a waste of money! *by W***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2021* This is a waste of money! The suction is okay but not only did I have to replace the batteries every 2 weeks but the bloody thing suddenly stopped working after only having it for a few months!There’s another one that I bought from Amazon that is just like this one but has a charger and lasted about 3 years! Hopefully I can figure out which one that was and I’ll just repurchase that one! The only reason that I purchased this one is because I thought it was that same original one I bought but obviously it’s far from it!Don’t bother with this purchase! It will cost you an arm and a leg to keep replacing the battery and it will suddenly stop working after a short period of time!
