I turned the tool on the side and about 6 pins fell out. The steel rails that slide in do not hold well with the set screws. It looks like it may not be threaded through so the set screw is bottoming out and will strip out if forced. The two pieces slide into each other to make the full length tool, but it is really stiff and difficult to connect then remove. Since it’s mostly cast plastic I guess that’s as good as you can get. I might shop for a metal one with a better quality to last longer.Overall I think it is worth $10, not much more. The thing that sets it apart is the ability to make turns. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Case is great. Pins hold their shape. *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2019* Mine came broken but I'm still giving it high marks. BAD= The pins on 1 gauge came all stuck together, at one end. They are supposed to fill up all the space to the end like you can see in my last picture. I haven't been able to unstick them, and it's not worth the hassle to send back. So, I'll just cut the off. GOOD=The pins are not so stiff they will scratch wood trim, (although you do have to be careful), and they hold their position. The pins are close to the edge making it easy to transfer the design to your flooring....trim etc... The carrying case is great to have because you want to keep those pins nice and straight! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I should have ordered more! *by P***Y on Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2019* There’s a lot to like, first, the shipping was way fast and the packaging was great! The product comes in it’s own case, so now it will be protected between uses, it works smoothly and my reputation for detail and accuracy will be maintained, it will just be easier and way less measurements, the added extension piece was a great idea, the other advertised products similar were not going to be long enough, that’s what really sealed the deal.
