Removing the old clips are the worst part of replacing this sensor; they get destroyed in the process. My method was to stick a small screwdriver through the old clip, breaking the locking tabs; there's no way to get your hand to both sides and release them. Once the tabs are broken, you can fenagle them out and install the new sensor.
