Initially I was worried about the use of plastic blades as they are not as widely available. In my experience the blades are extremely durable and I haven't broken any so far. The strimmer also comes with several replacements and they can be purchased for a reasonable price. The battery lasts for a very long time and is quick to recharge. I only have to recharge it every few cuts. The strimmer is quite lightweight and comfortable to use. The reason I take a star off is the cutting blades do not last long if they hit anything heavier than grass but having said that I do not have a very big garden so it will not be too big of a financial problem.
