I only use pods now and love them. Instructions read somewhere, "do not place in liquid chamber." If you already use Persil liquid, I would recommend the "original" square shaped blue/green formulated pods. They are the far more similar to the liquid formula. These disks are WAY overpowering in a smell that is like no other Persil product. Had to give my disks away and go back to the original scented pods, which leave my clothes smelling like fresh new money! 😊 **Q: What is HE ?** A: HE is High-Efficiency laundry detergent. Everything about it is perfection. It removes tough stains, softens clothes while protecting colors and prevents fading. The scent is wonderful and long lasting. I use both the liquid but mainly the discs. I've never had a problem with either. The prices for Persil are reasonable. Some Persil products do offer Amazon's 'subscribe and save'-I've been signed up for some time now.I have terribly sensitive skin and have NO issues with any Persil products.Best detergent ever.
