It does really work BUT, you cannot have any kind of draft in the same room....like a ceiling fan, the AC or anything that makes a breeze. So, I put it in the bathroom.....no breezes in there.....and it not only looks pretty, but it makes my bathroom smell nice. I do wish the incense would last longer though. I bought (separately) a package of 100 backflow incense cones and they work great.....they just don't last very long....maybe about 10 minutes. I guess the bathroom would fill with smoke if they did.....but it would be nice to watch the smoke flow down the layers longer. I'm glad I bought this though.
