It is the perfect shade of pink and goes with my skin tone and my wardrobe colors. I was so happy to learn that even though Max Factor had discontinued it they continued to make it for Amazon. It is the best long wearing lip product I have ever used. It lives up to its claims and really does only need to be reapplied once during the day. It lasts through eating and drinking too!. If you apply the gloss stick over it it won't dry out your lips. So here is my only problem with #055...there are big differences in the shade every time I order it which is frustrating. Whoever is in charge of Quality Control is not doing a great job of making sure it is the same color every time they make a batch. However, you should know that this color is more of an orangey-red than it looks like in the photos.
