Tomcat Super Hold Glue Traps Rat Size come ready to use right out of the box, so you can set them out immediately during a pest infestation for pest control. Rodents have a natural tendency to run along walls as they move from hiding to feeding, so we recommend placing your indoor rat and mouse traps up against the walls of rooms or cupboards where activity is suspected, such as the kitchen, the basement, the garage, or the attic. If a rat or mouse has not been caught in 2-3 days, place the rodent trap to an alternate location. Once the rodent has been captured, dispose of the trap and rodent in the trash. The key I found is placing them along the run mice and rats take which is close to baseboards along a wall. Not very effective if placed in the open. Dark places along the baseboards along a wall is best. The best is when a mouse or rat is caught you can just put on a pair of gloves, pick up the trap and toss it in the garbage, no need to touch the pest.
