Like if you took one of the CW shows based on DC comics, and inserted that level of angst and meaningless drama into a more violent setting with two (more) iconic heroes, this book is what you'd get.It's still a good story - and it could definitely have potential if they turned it into an ongoing series (unless they already have and I am just not paying attention) but they really need to stop making both heroes seem like prima donnas and instead focus more on the badassedness of both of them! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Seller! Not the best story. *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2015* Book was in pretty decent condition for being used and it arrived much quicker than the estimated delivery time. for that, the seller gets 5 stars as this was exactly as described and the service was better than expected.Commenting on the story: it's not the best. Miller made a name for himself reinventing the Batman character as a tortured soul who couldn't overcome the violent murder of his parents which is the image of Batman from which all modern iterations of Batman are inspired. The problem was that over time, Miller went way too far in this direction almost to the point of Batman being cartoonishly brooding to a point that it lacks common sense. When you consider that Batman has been on a team full of Do-gooders as a surrogate general figure, the idea that him meeting a persona that possesses magic like Spawn and being only motivated to attack, offend, and pick fights merely because this being possesses magical powers is really REALLY weird.
