Better than the original plastic ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked fine for my late 90's 3 door Ext cab F-150, with some effort *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on May 6, 2022* For my truck, I had to unscrew the 2 Philips heads screws for the rear doors window latch, and then pop that panel behind it off. Then I took off a 10mm nut, 2 screws, and a plastic fastener, which will let me pop off the lower panel (lifted up and out), and (very carefully) pulling back the vapor barrier so as not to destroy the sealant. Once that was done I could look for the issue. For me, it was at the handle mechanism in the middle at the back of the door, and the bottom latch release mechanism. The dumb plastic holder that fits around the latch cable and holds it in place was falling apart. Dang it Ford. I cut the rest of the plastic faster thing type deal off with a box cutter so I could use this part to replace it.Like others have said, this doesn't quite fit over the cable housing. I took some needle nose pliers, stuck those in the opening, and opened them a couple times to bend it open a to give it more room. I then slid this on each end, over the cable sheathing except for the end which goes just over the wire, as tight as I could get it to the sheathing, tested it, then re-tightened and crimped it down a bit with pliers. There's a notch in both mechanisms where the head of this part fits into to hold the cable in place. It didn't slide all the way in for me, but good enough to be fairly sturdy. I originally replaced the worse of the 2, which only worked for about a week before I had to replace the other; I'd do both if I had to do it over.I didn't have to take the seat beat or anything else off, and other than being a bit tight getting everything cleaned up and positioned on the bottom latch mechanism (I'd do that one first) it wasn't too bad... there was plenty of space to work on the upper. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked perfectly for a 2002 F150. *by L***T on Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2022* While the fit-test feature at top says it would not, this worked perfectly to fix the suicide door on my 2002 Ford F150. No adjustments or drilling were needed. I have ordered another set to do the other side now too, since it failed at about the same time.
