I assemble at least 2 Porsche 944 engines with 1 tube and that's rolling (small velour roller) the lower crankcase girdle and oil pump per engine. It doesn't take much quantity (thus the roller) since this is designed for .01" gaps of imperfection between the 2 halves. You can purchase a short nap velour roller with matching miniature roller tray can be purchased at local hardware or Sherwin Williams. Roll both halves of case. Good thing about anaerobic sealants is, it won't cure until parts are assembled. **Q: Is this "gasoline" resistant?** A: I would lean towards yes, oil and gasoline resistant. Highly recommend! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great! *by C***S on July 30, 2020* Used it to reseal a balance shaft housing on my 1987 Porsche 944, worked awesome and haven't had any leaks whatsoever. Just make sure the surfaces are totally clean before applying, I used mineral spirits and carb cleaner to clean the mating surfaces. Just run a mild bead and let the housing squish out the excess, trying to roll it on or smear it after applying just makes a mess. This stuff is designed to wash away in hot oil so don't worry about excess getting squeezed out.
