**Q: How deep is the socket**
A: I do not recall exactly and I am not sure where I put the socket.  But it did work perfectly on  my 2020 GLC 300 oil filter.

**Q: What wrench fit this socket?**
A: 3/8 ratchet wrench will fit.

You will need an 8mm square socket to remove the oil drain plug. You will also need a 27mm socket to remove the oil filter housing

A: I do not know what filter housing that car has but it works well for my 2020 glc300.  Before I had this socket, I used a 1 1/8: socket and it worked OK
