**Q: Can a switch be added to operate this light independently or is it a must to connect it to the home switch? Thanks**
A: No a switch cannot be added it must be connected to the home switch

**Q: Does this light have a plug on it**
A: No, it doesnt have a switch. That's why i had to change it.
My electrician told me that it needs to be connected somehow to the main switch in the bathroom. I wanted it to be separate.

A: I don't think so. The cover seems stuck on. Mine has just started flicking, 6 weeks after installation, but I don't know if it's the light or the wiring. Waiting for the electrician to find out.
