It really helped hold it together. There is velcro at the top that I'm assuming will give out at some point so I will probably have to reenforce down the line. I did sew a loop in the center on the inside and outside to attach to the ceiling on the outside and to hang a crystal mobil. on the inside I thought the mosquitos may find their way up through the holes that happen at the top when it occasionally bunches but only one here or there found their way in. Lasted 3 years *by P***. on June 16, 2019* new installation was easy. however, steel wires are better than the included strings. net seems weatherproof, but not sure how durable. wish it included patches for rips. overall, fit was described. Update: after 3 years, cat would climb underneath and claw their way out.
