One end has little brush about 1/2 inch long and shaped like a Christmas tree. The other end is pointed with tiny ridges. The whole pick is 2 1/2 inches long. We use these picks daily and I keep some in my purse and car. They're very handy for getting at caught food after a meal or snack.
