I went looking for a used one on Ebay to replace the one I lost. And then I checked Amazon. Wow! Same company still makes scoops and at almost the same price as a used scoop. I leapt on it like a duck on a June bug. The cool thing is you can order different sized scoops. Depending on whether you are serving up macaroni salad or Spumoni. The magic fluid in the handle actually works. Ain't no gimmick. You do need to learn some technique. Like run the handle under hot water and warm the fluid before scooping ice cream. And subconsciously cocking your wrist after each scoop to warm the business end of the scoop. Experiment with it. You'll learn your own tricks in no time flat. I certainly love my scoop.
