The platforms are really sturdy, I am 6’5” and 16 stone and it really feels secure when standing on the top platform. I have found that a hop up makes it easy to step onto. The side tray is strong and study and is great for taking a large rectangular bucket and tools to save keep getting up and down. Overall a brilliant bit of kit that also stores away neatly and takes up less space than a small ladder. And to fit a curtain rail. Much better than using step ladders as you can move around while on the item, it is also more stable than steps. There is also a handy tool tray. It can be taken apart and folded quite quickly and stored. But not as easy to store and fold as step ladders.
