I apparently have a deep groove down my back and the strap thing just got all the tanning mousse stuck in that groove and I couldn't get it out. I think this is just my personal body shape and I'd have this issue with any other similar product. If my back was perfectly flat, this would be amazing. Thankfully my 6 year old was down to try to help me blend in my back. Might be a bit spotty. The glove worked nicely. These mitts work great and are durable! I have to hand wash them about once a month and use them about every week or so. The color does not go through the mit into my hands inside. It evenly smooths out tanning products over my skin, blending smoothly. They are easy to wear on either hand. I was worried that they would soak up too much of the product and not put enough on my skin but it doesn't seem to be a problem. The back strap mit is easy to use as well. Totally worth the buy. I've had the same ones for several years and they are not disintegrating at all and the nap on it is the same as when I purchased it. The mitts are lightly padded and comfortable to use.
