Review: Great "daddy's done carrying a diaper bag" pack! - Not that I have anything against the diaper bag, but with the youngest more or less potty trained... yeah, yeah, I'll spare you. I'm a 6-foot, 200 pound guy, and this pack fits similar to the bike hydration packs I'm accustom to. It's compact, hugs the curve of my back, and the bottom sits high at the small of my back. That is to say, if you're looking for a rucksack or book bag style backpack, this one ain't it. The back pad takes it shape from a few layers of thick, wavy, "rubbery" but breathable material. It's not rigid, but it keeps anything I have stuffed inside from becoming an irritating pressure point.(within reason). Other than that, this pack is an open stuff sack. There's not much in organization, short of a couple of small pockets. My typical load doesn't vary much from spare clothes, a couple of medium weight jackets and hats, a snack and a drink or two, some sunglasses, and sunscreen. Then there's a compact camera, a phone, keys, you get the picture. The small size of the pack is desirable despite the limited load -- it keeps my list of take-alongs in check, it's about as inconspicuous as a backpack can get, and it's comfortable. I can always switch out to a larger pack when the situation calls for it. No problem recommending this pack -- as long as you're anticipating the size.
Review: Worked great! - I purchased this backpack for a fishing trip to Florida. Since I was going to be primarily walking long distances up and down the beach casting spinners and Gulp baits, I needed something lightweight that could carry a couple of medium tackle boxes, terminal tackle, camera, etc., and this worked fantastic. It's lightweight, comfortable and most importantly it's breathable so it stayed cool in the FL sun. Take note of the dimensions of this pack though as it's not large.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleasantly Surprised At How Near Perfect It Is
*by P***T on June 1, 2014*

I got this for urban and occasional outdoor hiking, but I use it everyday for work to bring along work clothes, a water bottle, and to carry small personal stuff like wallet, keys, coins, small towels and tissue paper. This bag is light! I can't even tell I have it on when it is empty. With the usual items mentioned above, I almost don't notice it when walking to/from work. The straps, as others have complained about were annoying until I realized that I can stuff the belt strap into the water bottle pockets and wind the chest strap into the little loop right above it (I don't know what that loop is actually for). With that strap issue resolved, I don't have anything else to really worry about. I don't have the water bottle falling out problem like the others. There is a weight imbalance when the bag is mostly empty and I only have one full water bottle in it. My compact umbrella did fall out twice before I realized that the side strap can help keep it in place. If I need to come up with one the only negative I can think of is that the bag is slightly bigger around the center (think hunchback of notre dame) so it takes a little Tetris skill to maximize a the space usage. I haven't tried out the water bladder slot yet and will update the review if I ever do. I took a chance with buying such a small backpack and glad I did because it works great for my needs.
