This is also a huge improvement over old school gas lighters. I immediately fully charged lighters, but all you actually need to do is open lid and "touch" the power button sensor to turn coil hot and close lid to turn it off.The coils heat up well on both side. The flip up lid action feels good, not loosely attached. The lighters feel well made. The body of lighter is zink alloy so it feels durable and is extremely smooth and is easy to wipe off fingerprints and clean if needed.
