The key is now as good as new. However, no instructions were provided, and I had to look elsewhere and easily found video instructions. Be aware this is very fiddly, and took me about an hour to complete. Getting the printed circuit board and the immobiliser chip out of the old shell took most of the time. The key is easy to pry apart and everything from the old key fitted in the new one. There is a circuit board and a transponder chip that need to be transferred from the old key and they fit well in the new case. The case looks good and feels a quality item. The key blade that comes with the new casing is blank and attached to a hinge case with a pin.
