And, they are not consistently bright as power diminishes. This plug in model is bright and works like a charm. I wish I found it earlier before adding under cabinet light in my kitchen. I noticed it would sometimes be triggered if someone walked over it. It was mounted to a ceiling joist. Regardless, it has completely stopped working 3 months in. Not sure if it's the AC adapter or the unit itself, but 3 months is not very long considering all of the other sensor lights of lesser value I've bought that are battery operated are still working great. I have tried to turn it on, off etc, but it just doesn't do anything.
