The light can be hung from porches, pergolas, or other garden structures using the attached chain. The light has an on/off switch. This attractive IP44 rated energy saving LED solar hanging lantern uses the attached solar panel to recharge the AA batteries throughout Daylight hours using free energy from the sun, once charged it will provide up to 6 hours of light. Great looking item. Took a couple of days in the sun before they turned on then only for about 30 mins before going off but that’s just because the solar needs to be fully charged. Now the come on at dusk and are still on when I go to bed. Had loads of comments on them of how lovely they are. Very stylish. Would order again
