Starting with the inside, there are two long pockets (long enough for standard file folders) and pockets on each end. Main inside compartment is about 5" wide but take into account that this is with the inside pockets having things in them. One of the long pockets has elastic pistol magazine loops. That's the inside. The outside has zippered compartments all around and the two on each end are perfectly sized for shooting glasses. The sides fold down and can serve as a padded place to lay handguns. Pencil holders and places to stash things like notepads, wipes and such. Just the right amount of padding everywhere and includes a removable shoulder strap. It would also make a perfect under-seat airline carry-on provided you made sure to completely empty it of all items first to make sure nothing banned gets accidentally packed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great No-Frills Bag *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2017* I ordered 5 different bags to look over and kept this one for indoor pistol range shooting. Where I live there is an outdoor rifle range and indoor pistol range, and I have a bag for each as I don't want to lug all my gear for both in one huge bag. I still have yet to find the "perfect" pistol bag but this one is a good value at this price point. I got the OD color because it's a bit easier to see items inside than with a black bag, which would normally be my preference. Bag is well constructed, with plastic interior end and bottom stiffeners which give it support. I also like the feet on the bottom which protects the fabric when you set it down.It has a lot of elastic loops for mags and other gear both inside and in one of the zippered side compartments. Both side compartments fold down for use as small mats and one has a nice lip to keep things from rolling away. Otherwise, not too many frills. Just a good solid basic bag. They say it holds 4 full size pistols, but you could also easily fit a few more smaller ones like the S &W Shield. As you can see in the display pic, one side has some Molle type loops for external fastening and a full length Velcro strip for attaching a name tape. My only complaint so far is with the shoulder strap pad. The mesh underside which rides on the collar bone seems pretty slippery and wants to slide off my shoulder. Not a huge deal for me since I typically don't even use a shoulder strap and remove it from the bag, However, nice to have just in case. It is perfect for my shooting range use. The bags main compartment has three stiff pieces of material one that folds down and two that are placed in side pockets that keeps the bag upright and open. The main compartment is large enough to hold 4 or 5 handguns and plenty of ammo. The is a side pocket that I store 2 pair of hearing protectors. On the other side is 2 more zippered pockets perfect for tools and shooting accessories. The carry handle is strong as is the carry strap.
