It’s old school, as am I and that’s exactly what I wanted. I absolutely loathe compression shorts, have never been a fan of gym shorts with the mesh liner thing and I don’t like wearing cotton briefs under gym shorts because it’s just too much fabric to get sweaty and clammy. I work out a lot and I work out HARD. After an hour or so in the gym I’m frequently drenched in sweat and my perfect, minimalist ideal is just a simple jockstrap under a loose fitting pair of cotton shorts. These fit that bill perfectly.I do think these run a little small. I’m exactly 32” and the medium feels a little tight to me. If I’m going on a long run I’ll wear the medium but for everything else the larger size feels great. Just the right amount of support. I also love the wide waist band and the 1” leg straps. EVERY other supporter I’ve worn the leg straps are too thin and feel like they’re digging into me. Not so with the Goldberg.I first bought these about two years ago and those first ones are starting to fall apart but as I said, I use these CONSTANTLY so I’d say they’ve held up really well to the use. I always dry them on a no heat setting which really helps. One final note: I do occasionally get some funny looks from the ‘kids’ at the various gyms I frequent as I put on / take off these. Yeah I look like a dork. You know what. I COULDNT CARE LESS. These are the most comfortable things I could wear that suit the purpose perfectly. And I HAVE noticed more dudes coming to the same conclusion. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value pack *by M***O on April 26, 2021* I am an old school when it comes jock straps when I work out. They fit just right they can stretch out if you constantly pull on them but should retain the shape. Not too snug and not too loose just right. When it’s time to wash them I use a mesh bag it helps keep them from getting caught in the washing machine they stay clean and don’t unravel in the stitching. I purchased the three pack great value ! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality *by J***S on April 25, 2021* I have a 42” Waist and the XL is a bit tight. I’m sure it will stretch. The pouch is very comfortable. The pouch isn’t flimsy but very well made. It keeps the boys in place and has good room for you. I’m larger below in the potatoes department. It keeps me secure without having to adjust. Looks good under jeans. Use a C-Ring to help push it up and you get a nice package.
