Some, like the "Ghostbusters Ectomobile" and "Doc Brown's Delorean Time Machine" volumes have proven to be excellent resources. Since I am building several 1:6 scale dioramas based on areas within the Millennium Falcon, this was an automatic purchase for me as I assumed it would prove as invaluable a resource as all my previous purchases. While there are a couple specific photos that are excellent (the reason for the three-stars I am giving it), this book really falls short. Despite being the "Millennium Falcon Owner's Manual" it spends the first quarter of the book showing black and white line schematics of all the other variations on the Corellian Freighter. It isn't until page 30 (out of 125) that you finally hit the pages specific to the title ship. The first decent interior photo doesn't appear until page 48 and most of them are small. Even then, it focuses a lot on just a handful of specific bits (the Nav Computer for instance) and even finds space in its lower-than-average page count to reprint photos of actors from the films. If you want nice detailed interior photography (or even close-up details of the exterior) to see how this ship looked in the films, this is NOT the resource you are looking for. I'll be keeping my copy because it was so cheap that it's not really worth the effort to return and because it *does* have a couple of photos that I find useful (a cool photo of Chewie working below in a maintenance bay and a good shot of the main cargo hold that has a really nice angle where you can see the ceiling on page 106), but I am not impressed with this reference beyond these few good shots. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The definitive Falcon reference *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2014* We have seen lots of technical information on the Millennium Falcon over the years. Starting with the Starlog Technical Manuals to entries in the Essential Guides and Vehicle Cross Section books to even a 3D layered book. All of these were great entries and held lots of cool information. However Haynes has made the best of the best among all of them.Just about everything that mentioned in the other books is all here along with lots more. It reads like a product catalog for this Corellan light freighter along with the other models. So not only do you get detailed specs on our beloved cruiser you also get some details on several Falcon-like variations like cockpit placement, engine types, cargo capacities and other unexpected "options". But the meat of the book is all Falcon. This is not a repair manual in the sense that people are used when seeing Hayne's on the cover. None of Hayne's sci-fi books are. It is a detailed set of specifications though, and really that should be enough.Every system, function, feature, and modification is specified on this manual. You get to read about the standard parts as well as the ones tricked out by Solo and previous owners. You get specifics on navigation and maneuvering, weapons systems, guidance and sensor systems, defensive shielding, cargo capacity, support systems, available factory options (you can get a mini-fighter launched from one of the access hatches) and more. There is enough here for you to even imagine what you own Corellan freighter would be like.As I stated earlier this book pretty much trumps every other technical entry previously published. You think you have some awesome stuff already? You probably do, but with this book has more. Guaranteed. If you absolutely love the Millennium Falcon and would absolutely love all the info you can gather this book is it. Unlike other Star Wars books that seem to be constantly updated with new stuff (thus making new editions to buy) I would be hard pressed to conceive how much more can be done than this book... unless somebody makes a real repair manual. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fun reading for the Star Wars fan *by T***L on Reviewed in the United States on June 26, 2022* My wife is a Star Wars fan and she loves it.
