When tightening the lids, they start to get tight, then pop off and you have to try to find that "kind of" tight fit before it's too much and pops off (no thanks). I will say like others have noted that the opening in each is a bit on the small side so any heavy creams or salad dressings are a struggle to use with effectively with this bottle. Its really made for something like a syrup at best or a simply highly viscous ingredient. I did cut the openings with scissors to make them a bit more useful which helped and this actually did NOT prevent the top from going back on as long as you don't go crazy deep with your cuts. Worth noting the material is very flexible and so far I have not experienced any leakage witch is usually the case with these more affordable bottles. If you keep expectations realistic for what you can use these for then I strongly recommend.
