Not a tooth brush kinda guy ... lol ... asked the vet what they recommend for dog breath issues - they recommended these chews along with Virbac C.E.T Aquadent Dental Solution for Dogs and Cats (250 ml). Started using both & I'd say within three days - our little furry guy's breath is 100% better. Use the dental solution in his water with every water change - I just use a 3/4 cap measure & he's fine with it. Follow up with giving him a chew twice a week & he's good. Love's these chews - they last about 1/2 day once he get's going on these. My dogs have all been using this product for about a year now, and their teeth have been in great shape ever since. It used to be that every time I took them to the vet, she told me that I needed to be more diligent in brushing their teeth because they had tartar buildup. So I spent hundreds of dollars having their teeth professionally cleaned once a year on her recommendation, but I was still bad about brushing. It's not that I don't want to take care of them, but my dogs are all around 60 lbs and HATE having their teeth brushed.Since I started using this product, I went back for their checkups and the vet was so happy with their teeth and thought I had finally started being good about brushing them. When I told her that I was using this product, she looked it up and is now recommending it to all her clients. 0 tartar or plaque buildup! The best part is that my babies think this is a treat for them, and they get so excited every day when they get their chew. I couldn't ask for a better product. The only thing my vet said is to make sure they don't have more than what's recommended because the enzymes will be bad for them in larger doses, so follow the label.I would give this more stars if I could.
