But I had to give it four stars for the directions. For a part with 4 bolts I'm not sure why they are so bad. I doubt the frame is different between JL models Here's what I found so hopefully you don't have to. I have 2018 Sahara JL.Step 1: "loosen all 4 nuts". Reality: you need to completely back them out to the point they are ready to come off.Step 2: "Remove bottom bumper Mounting bolts" Reality: I had no such boltStep 3: "If equipped, remove nut plate" Reality: I have a nut plate, but there is no way it's coming offStep 4: "blah blah blah". Reality: Since you didn't remove the nut plate, you MUST reuse the factory bolts you removed. So you'll have 2 bolts left over. Also the bracket must be for an after market 4-plug flat plug. The Mopar wiring harness does not require it.Also FYI the computer had to be reprogrammed to make the Mopar wiring harness work. This was very expensive. I hope you only need a hitch :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome hitch, not so awesome directions *by D***K on Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2020* The directions are a little confusing, as I read in the other reviews. Please know that you DON’T have to take the bumper cover off to get this installed on your Jeep. You DO need to have strong fingers though to get the existing plate off! This will not slide over the plate as some said because 2 of the bolt nuts are welded on. Read thru the other reviews, one of them had perfect directions to follow. All in all, so far so good. Using with a bike rack currently. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy Install, Bad Intructions *by J***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2020* Very Easy install but the instructions were bad for my 2019 Jeep JLU. Skipped Steps 1-3 and just used the 4 bolts, washers, lock washers, and 2 nutsto install right onto the rear cross member . Didn’t use the provided bracket either.
