This is a smaller winch so everything is smaller about it. But not exactly sure I bet if you google specs for this winch you will find the answer. **Q: it does come with a switch to control it doesn't it? And how long is it.** A: It did have a switch I think it was 6' you might try to google images of this unit. you might see it there. If you look around you can find ones this size with remote control. That is the way to go. I am happy with this unit. It does work well. I think warn sells this size w/ remote. Good luck. **Q: Mine bogs down lifting snowplow. Normal or not** A: The unit has a weight rating I imagine if you are lifting weight close to that rating or over it it would bog down. Is it "normal" I dont know, this is an inexpensive unit and you get what you pay for. if you need a bigger winch I suggest you buy a bigger winch.
